The county I grew up in had driver's ed but it wasn't mandatory. The only thing they showed us at school in regards to drinking & driving was a 78 LTD that had been practically flattened in a crash. They'd park it out front so we had to walk past it all day long.

I could only imagine seeing pics like that when I was in high school.
