WTB...I was pretty involved yesterday with some business stuff so saved your two messages to respond to later. One of them has been removed but I think I remember what you said about turning the embedded sound feature on and off. Will try it.

You mentioned real estate...we found it to be extemely profitable if one prepares for and can weather the slumps. Not the funds, though...brick and mortar and/or land (in our case).

As for pennies, it appears one has to devote a lot of time to them...that is, follow them closely which means spending your day in front of the computer. I do enough of that the way it is. LOL

I've gone thru two market down-turns...the one in 1987 (just shortly after I started investing!) and this recent bubble thingy...causing the value of my portfolios to drop.. 18% in one and 20% in the other. There again, as far as I'm concerned... if one has a good core holding, it's a matter of weathering the storm.
