I faced this blood thinner in my system dilemma when I needed one of my larger back teeth extracted. Thinners are an issue whenever you need to be cut for anything. And I think the new doc did a masterful job of explaining the complications that can occur during that 3 day long wait. Huge risk to clots, stroke, heart attack. Getting the thinners out quickly using the device, getting the procedure done more timely, reduces the risks that exist having to wait for them to clear out. I have been hospitalized with a heparin drip while my docs waited for my coumadin to clear.
