Bmrboy, fed easing started Dec 2008 ?

Out of the article sited, it states rates went to zero during 2008...

"The all-time low is effectively zero. The Fed lowered the rate to a range of 0.0% to 0.25% twice: Once during the financial crisis of 2008, and once in March 2020. After the first time, the Fed didn't resume raising rates until December 2015."

They said the financial crises of 2008, so if they meant the year 2008, then the fed funds rate was zero by the end of the year. Either way though, the market fell by a huge amount from Dec 2008 to Mar 6, 2009
