It's hard not to hate the players.
They're playing with our tax money and laughing at us all the way to the bank.

I just finished watching the video. None of it surprises me. I'm tired of being infuriated so I'll settled for resignation. When I first saw Fauci next to Trump at one of the briefings, I didn't know who the little fellow was. All I could think of was Trump referring to Bloomberg as "Mini Mike." It was hard to take the wee man seriously. Little men invariably have psychological problems leading to a megalomaniacal thirst for power. (JMO tall female opinion.)

After reading subsequent proclamations from Dr. Short Stuff, I was convinced he was on a power trip. Plus which he's a holdover from previous demorrhoid administrations. Not someone I believe would have Trump's back.

It is unconscionable to me that the CDC bunch can profit from patents they take credit for while being paid by the taxpayers. That doesn't happen in the private sector. I know for a fact that Bell Labs held all patents that resulted from the work of their employees. It's standard procedure. If that applies to the people (i.e. taxpayers) who are paying the government employee salaries, it should also apply to the government workers.

A college friend of mine worked for the CDC for 30 years and is now doing consulting work on the same project... a vaccine against malaria. Last summer he said they were "close." I wrote back and said if it were me I'd go back to using DDT and say the hell with it. I haven't heard from him since.

I'm tempted to send him the link and ask what he thinks, but I doubt I'll get an honest answer if I get one at all. He probably has a high level security clearance. I know these guys have to keep their mouths shut.
