Right or wrong I dont know but I stick to a 10/20 rule when I'm flipping set a stop at 10% loss and set my sell to a 20% gain. Sometimes I'll do 10 to 15 % gain depending on the volatility. But if I hit my sell point I'm happy. Quite often I leave some money on the table but a gain is a gain right? I probably have it wrong compared to the guys that do it for a living but it seems to work ok for me.
