Yes there is a difference. Only the company can cancel the shares . Delaware has no power to do it . They just void the corporation and continue to add interest to the outstanding tax debt . Unfortunately nobody has the keys to the corporation to do anything about it . Shouldn't the owners of the company AKA shareholders know who is running their company and how they got in charge without their approval?
Only in fantasy land is delisted voided and worthless a sign of good things to come .
