The iHub poster is a bit confused. That 700 number was not for CytoSorb and COVID-19 - it was the cumulative number for all CytoSorb uses for all indications in past few years. U. of Zurich is a major hospital center. There was very little data about CytoSorb's use with COVID-19 in this presentation, so it was underwhelming. There were recommendations to start CytoSorb early, but there continues to be concerns about clotting issues with COVID-19 patients. During Q&A, one questioner of unknown location actually said that their nephrologist team recommended not to use CytoSorb to all their ICU clinicians because of the risks of clotting.
