Expenses are on the rise (as Avita has indicated they will be), and while I would also like to see them exercise better frugality, the 35% Q/Q expense increase they quote in the release is largely exacerbated by the FX move. The AUD/USD was trading at $0.70 on 12/31 vs. $0.61 on 3/31. So if you look at Q/Q expenses in USD (which makes more sense since nearly all revenues and expenses are in USD) the rise was only 17%. Still not great, but much better than 35%...

FYI: Its down about 3.5% at this posting.
