North Bay Resources reports high-grade copper results from Feb 2025 exploration at Copper Island

North Bay Resources CEO Jared Lazerson joined Steve Darling from Proactive to unveil the latest exploration results from the company’s Copper Island Project, following a comprehensive rock sampling program conducted in February 2025. The program targeted eight outcrops within the Pomeroy 1-3, Beaver, and Copper Bell zones, yielding highly promising results. According to Lazerson, assay results revealed copper concentrations as high as 5.69%, along with silver reaching 1 ounce per ton and vanadium at 0.22%. The average assay values stood at 4.6% copper, 0.5 ounces per ton silver, and 0.9% vanadium, further underscoring the project’s potential. Additionally, metallurgical testing indicated that copper mineralization exists in oxide form up to 74.4%, with average oxide copper content of 40.3%, 42.1%, and 58.4% across three different leach tests. This is a crucial finding, as copper in oxide form is typically associated with lower processing costs and higher recovery rates, enhancing the project's economic viability. The Pomeroy 3-4 Zone, one of the most significant areas of interest, exhibits mineralization over a strike length of approximately 750 feet—making it the largest of the numerous copper-silver zones identified to date. The mineralization is associated with a northwest-to-north-trending sequence of amygdaloidal basaltic flows, with key east-west to east-northeast-south-southwest cross-cutting fault and fracture zones contributing to the structural complexity. Multiple parallel mineralized zones have also been identified, further expanding the project's exploration potential. Frontier IP investee GraphEnergyTech discusses solar panel collaboration

GraphEnergyTech CEO Dr Thomas Baumeler discussed a collaboration with the Taiwan Perovskite Solar Corporation, Taiwan’s prestigious Industrial Technology Research Institute and the University of Cambridge. The project is supported by an Innovate UK grant worth nearly £900,000. Known as GETPSC (Graphene Electrode Technology for Perovskite Solar Cells), Baumeler explained that current solar cells rely on expensive silver electrodes, which degrade when in contact with Perovskite Solar Cells. GraphEnergyTech, a Frontier IP Group PLC (AIM:FIPP) portfolio company, aims to replace these with graphene-based electrodes, offering a more stable and cost-effective alternative. "Graphene is one of the most interesting materials out there," he said, highlighting its durability and lower cost compared to silver. Perovskite Solar Cells are considered the next major advancement in photovoltaics due to their efficiency and simpler manufacturing process. However, industrial-scale adoption has been hindered by the lack of a viable nonmetallic electrode—something GraphEnergyTech aims to solve. Baumeler also noted that GraphEnergyTech is working on replacing silver electrodes in traditional silicon-based solar cells while exploring applications for its conductive carbon-based technology in batteries, supercapacitors, and electronics. Ilika CEO Graeme Purdy on 50Ah Goliath EV battery prototype milestone; scaling up

Ilika PLC (AIM:IKA, OTCQX:ILIKF) CEO Graeme Purdy joined Proactive's Stephen Gunnion with details about the company's latest milestone—the successful prototyping of its 50Ah Goliath EV battery.
