IPIX and interleukin-6 (il-6)?

I have seen treatment for il-6 mentioned briefly in IPIX press announcements. Also, seeing that treating il-6 is getting a lot of attention right now for coronavirus.

Can anyone shed any light on ability of brilacidin to treat il-6? Is it a focus of upcoming coronavirus research for brilacidin?

I am thinking this may be key to getting brilacidin to the next level.
