That is a new variation of an older patent what with a duo quartz tuning fork apparatus and other refinements. Good to see that an improvement could be made for what was a sensor APNT provided under contract to the Northeast Gas Association. The version they(NGA)own has undergone wireless tests for certification but as far as I know there is no manufacturer willing to make it yet. Also note there is something else currently going on with respect to another Japanese company NGA has engaged with for expertise per gas sensors--strange bedfellows all.
I believe this company does not derive any financial benefit from that concluded research project--at the least this patent is owned by us free and clear with no contractual encumbrances. Another five years of testing ahead until proved scientifically to be viable, I guess. I may not live that long.
