one should hope not...one of the many downsides of having an outpatient suffering from malignant narcissism is they take great pleasure in endangering the public health at every turn, like the Tard, regularly. Not a single positive exists, he's a lifetime failure, a loser. But, the dozens of criminal trials and additional dozens of sexual assault and libel trials will be very entertaining...some of his proven qualities...
- Has an exaggerated sense of self-importance
- Has a sense of entitlement and require constant, excessive admiration
- Expects to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it
- Exaggerates achievements and talents
- Is preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate
- Believes they are superior and can only associate with equally special people
- Monopolizes conversations and belittle or look down on people they perceive as inferior
- Expects special favors and unquestioning compliance with their expectations
- Takes advantage of others to get what they want
- Has an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others
- Is envious of others and believe others envy them
- Behaves in an arrogant or haughty manner, coming across as conceited, boastful and pretentious
- Insists on having the best of everything — for instance, the best car or office
- Becomes impatient or angry when they don't receive special treatment
- Has significant interpersonal problems and easily feel slighted
- Reacts with rage or contempt and try to belittle the other person to make themselves appear superior
- Has difficulty regulating emotions and behavior
- Experiences major problems dealing with stress and adapting to change
- Feels depressed and moody because they fall short of perfection
- Has secret feelings of insecurity, shame, vulnerability and humiliation

A long term symptom of the disorder is a chronic cognitive distortion. Consistent with firmly held beliefs about his specialness, the disordered will manifest a pattern of negative, all-or-nothing thought processes.

His inflated self-concept does not appear to be grounded within objective academic, employment, or interpersonal histories.

Additionally, he holds many negative expectations of others based on distorted beliefs about how individuals from various socioeconomic, educational, and demographic backgrounds think, feel, and behave. These beliefs lead to significant emotional dysregulation, poor distress tolerance, and interpersonal chaos.

He frequently struggles to see multiple perspectives on an issue and devalues others who are not able to see his perspective.

This tendency results in a vicious cycle of unrealistic goal-setting, feelings of failure, and low mood which often impairs his ability to function in his professional or personal life.

Eventually this cognitive dissonance gets overcome by his environment and the underlying fear of failure becomes the reality of actual failure
