I've been buying other oil stocks for now. Opportunities are abounding, and I happen to like a couple others better. As for CHK, $35/share equates to .175/share pre-split.

It's about perceived market value, not just share price. That's why smart investors have been buying this up, after the usual initial drop post R/S.
