My thoughts on the drinks... Thanks for your feedback, Borys.

Did you order online or buy in a store? What did you pay for a can? Thanks. I am genuine and curious. Short or Long or whatever, play the swings, make money, I don’t care — I just wanna be real here for a second because I have been thinking about these drinks a lot lately...

I tried one just today myself, and I’m a seasoned user... I smoke my own solventless concentrates so pretty much moonshine as far as cannabis goes....

Anyway, drinks ...

Price: $3.99, taxes included, OCS website.

Packaging: pleasant aside from all the useless warning labels and childproof cap... That, I’m sure we can all agree, is an absolute joke and will need to be reworked, along with some stronger drinks in future of course.

Taste: I hear you when you say “tasted like water” and whatever else you said. First sip I thought “eh this is kinda shitty,” but then I began to enjoy it and now that I’m typing this I might grab one more just because...

Effects: so.... Like you, Borys, I figured I’d get pretty well NOTHING out of this because of tolerance. But I think there is something to the “terpene blend” (flavour of the drink) and the way it works with THC in your system. I had smoked concentrates this afternoon, stopped for several hours, then tried the drink.

I was surprised to find that the drink seemed to have a subtle effect for me. It wasn’t absolutely NOTHING, but more of a light “airy” kind of calmness, or something? I am just thinking the terpenes have worked in a GOOD way with the THC already in my body / the tiny amount in the drink. Lol.

Just thinking ... 5grams of plant material per tin, but 2mg THC. The margin on these drinks should really be a beautiful thing because they are literally using their sugar leaves and fan leaves and whatever to make the terpene mix (and distillate, but I believe it is more cost-effective to just buy distillate) and achieving that 2mg perfect dose. Then they’re making their own proprietary “flavours” by infusing the “Houndstooth” terpene blend into the drink.... and IMO, the combination of a high concentration of terpenes + THC is where these drinks will succeed (I obviously agree that we need 5 and 10mg tins; then I’d probably sit here and drink six or ten and see how that goes).

Another example on the terps... distillate pens with terpenes, in my experience, hit harder than pure distillate on its own. It’s the combination of terpenes and cannabinoids that makes the magic. This is why I smoke my own rosin, which is cost-effective now for me with OCS (legal) weed.

So.... These drinks are jacked on terpenes, which is great! Terpenes are also healthy and there has been lots of research done on their role beyond simply flavinoids...But yeah absolutely we need the cannabinoids boosted ^^^ and some more flavours to try / brands appearing, then the market will handle it.

Price is “high” because of the sensationalism around new products, but that too will be competed down, just as we have seen with flower.

Anyway, glad to hear your experience, Borys, sincerely! Short away buddy. There are so many ways to play this beautiful and often harrowing game.

Good luck to you all. Stay toasty.
