fnmat is fixed 8 1/4% coupon and there is no way i buy common v this issue.
re the floaters, if not exchanged/redeemed, they should trade at yields slightly above t-bills implying a slight discount to par at worst
I'm saying there is no reason to take that additional risk if you are to decide between FNMAT vs FNMAO
Currently trading at FNMAT 5.80 and FNMAO 10.50
The slight discount of FNMAO is not worth the additional risk.
