Not sure why RS would be related to capital rise. Market cap stays the same before or after RS... yes, it looks better on a paper to say they issue 5M (post RS) opposed to 100M (before RS) but at the end of the day it doesn't matter.
I would be OK with RS if it was only 1/2.. anything bigger than that will absolutely ruin liquidity here.. pps is already hurting with low volume.. add to it lack of liquidity and we are going to see only a few shares traded daily = big spreads/swings.. I don't like it. I'm voting NO..
One of the possible reason why would they issue shares now, before RS is if they know that whoever gets shares is going to be on their side with voting for RS.. they may think that they won't get enough votes for now, with additional shares they may be getting control back. Just throwing idea out there..
But it could be as simply as just part of the plan that they know they will need money to expand... Unfortunately I think it shows poor management and planning. If they need money for growth, it's something that should have been done a year ago, right after Farm Bill.. when their product was hot and pps much higher.
they literally wasted whole year on doing nothing imo
If capital is solely related to paying for drug trials..than I agree that maybe it would be a good idea to split company. Pure Pharma stocks trade totally on future expectations and not so much on daily performance and revenue so yes I agree that some traders/investors could be confused how to priced this company correctly.
