A more positive inference would be the subtitle to the PR:

COMPANY WILL DETAIL CURRENT PROGRESS OF FDA EUA WAIVER, FILING OF 2ND EUA FOR AT-HOME USE KIT,

The fact that it states PROGRESS OF FDA EUA WAIVER FILING and not just "status" of EUA filing would seem to indicate that he has some good news to share, i.e. that they received and tested the kits against venous blood samples and have submitted that data to FDA. That indeed would be GREAT news.

I don't know of any other "progress" that could take place with the filing other than the fact DECN has submitted or is in process of writing up the results of the blood testing to submit to the FDA. That has to happen before they get approval, so I hope Thursday truly gives us news of "Progress"...
