From Dr Moro's patent on testing and detection of RECAF.:

"The present invention pertains to a method for detecting cancer in a patient. The method comprises the steps of introducing labeled antibodies or labeled AFP to a biological sample of the patient so the labeled antibodies or labeled AFP will react with the AFP receptor binding sites in the biological sample. Next there is the step of identifying AFP receptor binding sites in the biological material which are reacted with the labeled antibodies or labeled AFP to determine the presence of cancer."

These are the steps necessary.

1. "introducing labeled antibodies or labeled AFP to a biological sample of the patient so the labeled antibodies or labeled AFP will react with the AFP receptor binding sites in the biological sample."

2."Next there is the step of identifying AFP receptor binding sites in the biological material which are reacted with the labeled antibodies or labeled AFP to determine the presence of cancer."

Step 2 is the "complex" step that Dr. Moro is keeping secret. It is obviously purifying the sample so that only the "AFP receptor binding sites in the biological material which are reacted with the labeled antibodies or labeled AFP " show their presence in the sample.

IMO, this patent is deliberately vague so that no one can copy the process from reading the patent. That also works to Dr. Moro's detriment since someone could actually come up with an almost identical procedure and Dr Moro would not have a strong patent position to defend against the competition. This ploy will work until someone exposes the process. Then you have a patent fight haggling over notebooks as to who did what when.
