True, a very small sample, but whoever your quoting apparently doesn't believe this:
"The University of Chicago Medicine recruited 125 people with Covid-19 into Gilead’s two Phase 3 clinical trials."

They are definitely not results from a completed trial but the results reported WERE regarding part of a clinical trial according to the Stat article.
