This was excellent getsmarter! I regret missing it. You definitely see this guy for what he is and bullshit behind the claims he asserts. I'm glad I was not alone in smelling this fish. His biggest problem, IMO, is that his two big-ticket items, adipose and bone marrow are in a bit of trouble. The labs being shut by the FDA and the November changes are almost primarily focused on adipose-derived MSC's. many clinics have sub-par "clean" labs, the cell derivation not done well, and the like, so given there exist alternatives, the FDA is closing most of it down.

As an aside--while having the advantage of being plentiful, as you know, there is also growing negative evidence that adipose-derived SC's can increase adipocytes as homeostatic adipogenesis is impaired (entropic), and resultant visceral obesity substantially affects the risk of heart failure in these high-risk individuals; diabetes/diabetics may also be of concern.

Moreover, the thing is (and you should know the details), in November the adipose cells should be mostly eliminated by the new FDA regulations. Centeno doesn't even have the quality of labs they will be requiring that PRED does. Bone marrow cells will still be allowed, but cells derived from umbilical (Wharton's jelly) and amniotic fluid much better and rich in cells. Centeno only does adipose, and primarily bone marrow. Once adipose is gone, all he has is bone marrow, while the OA studies are showing great results for WJ (including the buried PRED pilot). So--he want's to kill PRED if he can, and that is what he's doing. He knows a COVID contract would give them a huge boost (aside from his short position) and is really hoping for failure.

I just hope he doesn't have ears in the FDA like he appears to in the OTC/Nas.
