AND - this type of specific test is/was never meant to be 100% "accurate" as is often claimed or used to spread misinformation about it.

It's a mass "triage" kind of screening test - rapid use, cheap, disposable, requires no special equipment and not even electricity or utilities etc and can be done to the same person each week easily for example.

It's to RAPIDLY screen a population of people to get them back to work safely and separate out those to be sent to the more expensive, complicated, lab work required 100% "confirmation test".

Think of a military unit- critical to keep them "fight and mission ready" and know what human assets you have for planning purposes etc (Same for law enforcement, fire fighters etc)

Take 1,000 troops and you in a very short period (an afternoon) can line them up and run them through the AYTU test screening.

NOW - NOW you have two groups:

1) Those YOU KNOW 100% "had" Corona and carry the antibodies and are safe to go back on their jobs and

2) Those who appear to LIKELY have active COVID-19 and need to be quarantined from their team and other troops ASAP and sent for the 2nd, swab type follow up test.

Example of the AYTU test results of 1,000 personnel on an aircraft carrier tested in a single afternoon (line um up on the carrier deck at sea, with the medical teams at tables- and test as fast as possible) - a literal "floating city" of approx 5,000 people approx and you can rapidly divide them into two groups:

985 of those 1,000 personnel would rapidly and safely be sent back into their daily routine- example of an aircraft carrier would be you can resume flight operations and be shooting aircraft off-deck and recovering same, which is MISSION CRITICAL as pilots need, MUST fly regularly or they get "unsafe" very rapidly as they get rusty on their skills (same for the deck crews who shoot and recover the aircraft).

15 personnel are sent to quarantine ASAP and kept away from infecting anyone else on the carrier and they get the swab-test follow up and then treated as needed, etc.

THAT is the beauty of what this AYTU test does- and for a VERY low cost and fast and can be done over and over and over. Just a mere finger stick and a few minutes and good to go :)
