At this point there is no getting around hoofing it for groceries every now and then, and it's probably safest to stock up right now w news of what is going on in the food industry

Good idea as long as it doesn't turn into hoarding. I am low on butter and rice and wouldn't mind some rigatoni as I made a nice big batch of marinara sauce with meatballs so froze away 4 good sized containers. Happy to see the Safeway by me limiting the number of items in demand by in short supply to stop the hoarders. My local farmers market is a safe place to me. It is small, outside with booths widely spaced and lower attendance makes it very easy to social distance. A woman there sells cage free organic eggs so I was able to get two dozen. I got some nice blueberries too so will make a big batch of blueberry pancakes which I freeze away. I will also make Chocolate biscotti again. Here is a shopping tip. Lactaid milk lasts way longer than regular milk, close to 2 months.
