I'll be shocked if ANIP is still independent in 2021. Whether it's ABBV or some other credible company, ANIP is like the guy with a really promising colt. You'd love to race him under your own colors, but what do you do when a big owner make a big offer? Unless you are a dreamer, you sell. Maybe you keep a piece, but I think ANIP's shareholders will want a deal.
Let's see what happens this summer. My own totally uneducated guess, simply because it is familiar with the product and still has overseas rights (I believe) is Merck.
