Just to clarify, this is not my "theory". I am not saying that this is what I believe the break-through to be. My original post was a response to someone saying it would be a "big yawn" if the platform silkworm were to be announced. I thought that comment was very short sighted. I still don't know if it's possible for a silkworm to make the variety of different proteins I'm talking about without negatively affecting their survival.

Also, I will not speculate on PPS. There are so many other variables at play especially on the OTC market. It's much more phycological than fundamental. Regardless, whatever the break-through is, there will be great effort to downplay what ever the achievement is as a "big yawn". There will also be blind cheerleading even from those who don't understand the real implications of the break-through.
