The problem with these classic pump and dump schemes is insiders and those privy to inside information front load at bargain basement prices and sell to starry eyed novice traders buying the pump press releases, ooooh I hear something is about to happen, better get those cheapies! Sometimes an outsider can catch a small wave but the real winners are insiders and co-conspirators out there selling stock to “marks” in the market. It’s as old a scam as any other.
