I went back and reread the April 6, 2020 PR and don't find where PKTX announced that they (PKTX) will do their own testing. It did talk about the test that have been done already.

The March 19,2020 PR stated:

“Following the successful completion of recent testing of our AAGP® for dry eye disease, we need to ensure all our intellectual property is patented in order to protect its value.” - said Clarence E. Smith, president and chief executive officer.

I thought I read where PKTX was going to control the production and marketing of the product for the dry eye disease. I tried to find where I may have read it but could not, so I am probably wrong on that.
