My wife saw some bloggers saying that tonic water has quinine and, it coupled with zinc, could help stave off the virus. The zinc part must have some validity because I've heard a few doctors say that they take it. Tonic water apparently is still in question because the amount of quinine in it is in a very low amount.

Some people say that if you want to stock up on tonic water you may as well make a run to the liquor store and by gin so you'll at least enjoy it.
