From working in a liquor store only a couple years ago, i had way more customers tell me kids were outside trying get people to buy for them than actually try, but its also the area you're in suppose (had a couple kids tell me the adult just took their miney and left, nit buying them anything lol) Since i believe most laws have that the vending machine would need to be in a bar area (or establishment already licensed to sell alcohol), they would be supervised anyway.

The point is to vend beer, something that doesnt need measurements, while your bartenders are making $10-$15 cocktails left and right and getting people up, served and away from the bar to open space, while getting tipped nicely. But still be able to assert some form of control.

You also dont need to reprogram the machine every 2 seconds, other than tobacco, there isnt many huge changes to age restrictions. If youre trying to push to every 50 states, youre correct, they wouldnt be able to keep up financially. But there are already a number of states where the machines comply with age restricted products
