The nice and wise thing about Ihub/advfn is all people are invited to play and no one is forced to pay. It's worked fine since the inception of this website.
Ihub/advfn does offer much more if a person wants to pay.
This and most other forum sites would probably never have worked if they had a paywall from the landing page, like newspapers do and many other sites.
A freebie has a 50/50 chance of becoming a paying member at any time because they get a good taste of the site. Making people pay for something when they can't even get to the second page isn't conductive to growing in a market.
