It was a rhetorical question abou Walmart. If I buy anything at Walmart it will not be made in China. The US Consumer is raised on credit and when it comes to making big ticket purchases, and because they are buying on credit, they will buy the next best cheapest alternative which means not made in the USA because of cost. Easy credit means buying what we don't need but buyng it now. We are our own worst enemies.
We must not continue to make China the economic giant it is at the cost of our own economy. Companies should be pressured to move manufacturing back home, especially essential items like generic drugs, medical products, things we will require in the next pandemic, and it is coming. That much we all know.
