unemployment offices are overburdened and claims will take 2 months to be approved.
No. I know numerous people that applied for unemployment online in the last couple of weeks and were approved in hours. The one week wait for benefits is waived and their money is flowing already. Oh yeah, and the stimulus package adds $600/week to their payments for at least the next 4 months. As far as I know the additional money hasn’t started yet but I’m sure it will soon.
Just keeping it real. Oh, the offices are closed, there’s a pandemic, you’ll need to apply online.
P.S. moments ago I added a $129 apple care contract on my new $850 iPad Pro second generation and $129 Apple pencil I received last week. So some of us aren’t panicking. I figure if I don’t die I want a really cool new iPad and pencil.
