Come on guys, it's one and done. Essentially what you do is mix the blood with a reactant. If it reacts, it gives an indication which is positive but that means the reactant is used up.

Second, you can't get the blood out of the cassette after you put it in. If you put more blood in, how could you tell which blood it was reacting to?

Finally everything in the kit is sterile. Is it sterile after it's used? Of course not. You stuck the needle in someone's finger, you can't use that again.

One and done.
