The equipment "problem/malfunction" is what I would consider a material event, and so therefore, if this situation/event/item that caused this problem has been identified and corrected, I would expect the company to announce this?

I still do not understand why Avid cannot just come out and say what the problem was/is, when they plan to fix it, and how it will affect future runs? Right??

Was it a case of....??????

a)Sabotage by disgruntled employee or other that contaminated a bunch of runs, or intentionally destroyed or materially damaged a piece of equipment that is difficult to repair and or replace?

b)Was it plain human error, in that the piece of equipment was not operated properly resulting in damage and is difficult to repair and replace?

c)Was it a contaminated water supply or other ingredient that went unnoticed for a period of time as no one was testing the run/runs? If so, it can be very difficult, time consuming and expensive to repair assuming the cause of the problem is fairly quickly identified.

Of course all of the above are totally WAG's!

The problem is, that the share price is suffering in the wake of this covid-19 Pandemic, even though in theory we could be benefitting from a supply chain disruption by manufacturing biologics that BP's need!

Had we had a banner quarter with increased revenues and no hiccups(although this material event is more than a basic hiccup) we could be very well operating flat out and trading in the teens!

Will this crew ever get it right???
