Different perspectives are good. Short term traders and longs should be able to post together without stepping on each others' toes..

I agree. We have an active market/message board when this occurs.
I personally work most all day long, so am not able to really day trade as a I would like to, so my version of going long is anywhere from one week and beyond.
Learning to scan/research the whole market sure does take some DD while burning the midnight oil, and then placing your limit buys in...while ya go to work and hope the pps either hit it or is not toooo far below AFTER picking up your order.
This is kinda how it is for us part-timers.
