Greetings,

Amid the COVID-19 outbreak, we are diligently focused on the health of employees, customers, the community and the company.

The state of Colorado has permitted cannabis dispensaries to remain open as an essential service. Diego locations are implementing strict protocols for health and safety according to CDC, state and federal guidelines. Some of these measures include social distancing, frequently sanitizing surfaces and order-ahead services via the Diego Pellicer App.

During this time, customers continue to turn to Diego for quality cannabis and product expertise in a world-class shopping environment. Retail sales have gained momentum through the new year, with the West Alameda location in Denver projecting a strong, year-over-year increase in gross sales in March.

Another bright spot during this global crisis has been the progress of the Broadway location store prototype in Denver. It has remained open for business during both the remodel and as an essential service in Colorado. The re-branding is expected to be complete in time for 420. An update is available in this newsletter.

As Diego Pellicer Worldwide, Inc. pursues definitive agreements on its letters of intent to acquire retail, cultivation and processing facilities, the company has engaged FTI Consulting, a highly respected business advisory firm. FTI Consulting will ensure each acquisition is accurately valued and that it is a responsible transaction for the company and its shareholders.

Wishing you good health,

Nello Gonfiantini III - CEO
Diego Pellicer Worldwide, Inc., OTCQB: DPWW

Strong Sales In March For Diego Denver Licensee

Diego Pellicer – Colorado has done it again, implementing a solid strategy to provide quality cannabis, celebrated budtenders and a world-class shopping experience to its customers. Leading the charge is the West Alameda Avenue location with its outstanding selection of affordable, sought-after marijuana including hard-to-find exotics. Diego Pellicer Worldwide, Inc.’s Denver licensee is projecting robust sales in March during this challenging month.

“Customers continue to turn to Diego as an essential service during this difficult time. We take their trust very seriously and with great honor. Beyond providing outstanding service and affordable, premium cannabis, each location has taken great measures to ensure the health and safety of employees and customers,” said Nello Gonfiantini III, chief executive officer, Diego Pellicer Worldwide, Inc. “We look forward to bringing the Diego way, a quality product mix, world-class service and a refreshing environment to the re-branded Broadway store with its new look, unveiling in April.”

News from the Store Front: Diego Pellicer Worldwide, Inc. New Store Prototype Nears Completion in Denver

Spacious, inviting, modern, approachable and sophisticated are just some of the words used to describe the new Diego Pellicer Worldwide store prototype. Located at 2057 S. Broadway, the store is the first in the new, scalable Diego design system spearheaded by world-renowned architect Michael Rotondi and original Apple retail store creative team member Jill Savini.

“This is the future of cannabis dispensaries and a remarkable step forward in Diego Pellicer Worldwide’s evolved business model. It represents the company’s world-class branding model plus momentum into direct cannabis retail ownership and operations,” said Gonfiantini III. “We look forward to the Broadway location’s unveiling in April and the opportunity for a proper celebration when it is deemed safe by the CDC, state and federal officials.”

Sought-After Exotics, Grow-at-Home Clones and a Community Room
With the widely celebrated 420 occasion around the corner, the store will feature fully stocked shelves including sought-after exotic strains and flowers, clones for growing at home as well as a unique Community Room with views into cultivation rooms.

Rather than rows of pre-packaged, hard-to-see products, the exotics bar will house shelves of premium flower and genetics on full display in glass jars. A dedicated, knowledgeable budtender will weigh each customer’s order for a connoisseur experience, allowing each to see exactly what they have ordered.

In Colorado, customers are allowed to purchase small cannabis clones to grow at home. Elevating the experience, the Broadway location will offer a complete kit including nutrients and lights.

A unique element of the store is a Community Room with space for cannabis education and views into both a mature flower room as well as vegetative stage. This aspect is grand-fathered into the acquired location and an element store employees are planning to take advantage of for education and community engagement.
