A manufacturing facility here in Indiana that I have direct access to that makes auto parts mostly and some refrigerator parts is still under stay at home lockdown, but has begun to run some lines of some parts and brought back some of their younger employees to do it. These parts have been deemed essential this week for some reason.

I wonder if that’s how this will go, slowly easing back into production. Will almost everything be deemed essential eventually?

Will the prevention of total economic failure plunging us into mad max beyond thunderdome mode be essential?

Probably, acceptable losses is an old military axiom.

Just wondering.
