As I said yesterday everything will become clear. There will be multiple tests for different things, detecting virus, detecting antibodies, they will all have different times for results etc. the important thing to realize is that the Chinese are ahead of us with regard to dealing with this. They have a 4 month head start and as a result, any of their quality rests will have a back catalogue of clinical data. By all accounts, pred has one of the top antibodies test. Igg/igm combo with 97% accuracy unlike some of the cheap single cartridge products that will kill people due to false readings 60% accuracy
Any of the new products to coming or market will take a bit of time to ramp up and will have to build up the clinical data. Even abbot. Also most of the products coming to market are swab based and if you ask any doctor or patient, it’s highly dangerous as the risk of transferring the virus to the tester is high and also it’s extreme uncomfortable. The other aspect is getting it far enough up your nose or down your throat to get a correct sample so human error comes into play.
Pred has a quality product, has volume capacity with a major partner that is shipping worldwide into some of the most regulated markets in the world. Germany, Japan, South Korea as an example.
I’m 100% confident that they have orders and I’m expecting all that to become public in the coming days.
Again I reiterate, this is a worldwide pandemic, billions of tests needed over the next 18 months. There is room for everyone. You guys get hung up on the US but we make 1/16 th of the worlds population, China makes up 1/5th . That leaves everything else or 5.8n for those that can’t count. South America, Canada, Central America, Europe , Africa (real problem) India, Australia/new zealand , Russia..
