Well, there's a big difference between Islay single malts and the others. Islay are very smokey, peaty, briny, and you have to definitely prefer them wink
I like Laphroaig 10yr, and here are some more-
. The Speysides are more floral, herbal, sweetish; I really like Deanston 12yr, It's not as well known as some others, as well as Glenmorangie sherry cask and Glenfiddich 12yr. In Irish whisky land- Greenspot and Redbreast 12yr -
.
I'm going to try Michter's American Whiskey and I hear Connamara Irish is all the Irish flavors, but with some smoke and peat and I want to try it as well. I hear the Highland malts are a bit of floral, sweet, but with some smoke and brine sometimes
Of course the very best is a bottle of Johnny Walker Red and a bag of frozen Totino's pizza rolls big smile cheers! and good luck

Edit- this Kirkland 18yr looks really good!

You can probably borrow tools for a year, loll!

“Hey, don’t worry; don’t be afraid, ever. Because this is just a ride…. And we can change it any time we want. It’s only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a simple choice, right now, between FEAR and LOVE.” - Bill Hicks
