Hello WhiteOwl, your concerns are normal for anyone who is rational. Ozone, and its sister, Hydrozone(ozonated water), has been used theraputically for well over a century. I did not buy my generators for health. I used them commercially to decontaminate apartments, rentals, etc. I appreciated the effects on cat piss, chain smokers, dog and cat crap, mold and the like. Of course, we rolled up the carpets and chucked them, but the floors, cabinets, closets, floor moldings, A/C ducts, heating systems, would still reek until we ozonated them. Ozone gets into the cracks and nookies where the bugs like to hide too. Yes, they die too. That is the point: it kills stuff. LOTS of stuff, including viruses. If you want to see my setup, I can post a pic here. A good reference for using any ozone generator is time. Get one with a timer. If you can, 1.put a portable plastic shifferobe or file cabinet outside your front door with the ozone generator inside. Mount it in the upper area, plugged in and ready to go. 2. When you get a delivery(mail, food, ebay boxes, whatever), place items in the cabinet with rubber gloves or the like. After stuff is inside, chuck the gloves in too, taking care not to touch the outher parts of the gloves. 3. Turn on Ozone generator, close file cabinet doors, wait 20 minutes. 4. Open doors, turn off generator, go back inside and wait about 5 minutes(Ozone dissipates very quickly outdoors). Now you have sterile items.
PS: If doing this in a closet inside, wait 20 minutes and do not loiter around that part of the house(if you are doing this in a bedroom closet, go to the living room and hang out.
