All will be one clear soon but I think this is a very good point from a doctor who has tested the product. It explains exactly why the antigen test will be here for a long tome while the abbot tests ext are short term.
It’s about future state of mind and getting people moving again. We all agree that lockdown can’t be forever. So what’s important then!

I want to let you know 2 things the company has to to keep drilling to the masses. That includes the people in the medical profession. I have spoken to dozens of people now and the lack of sophistication among VERY educated people is shocking. It needs to be made clear that the Abbott test is totally different. It does NOT determine immunity. THAT is key. It is what will let people go back to work and have some confidence in doing so. The viral test is not important to me day to day. IMMUNITY is. If I am immune and not shedding virus I am safe and so are others. The second is the ACCURACY of this test compared to the others. It needs to be clear that it takes time to find the right combination of antigens to check. Many months. The newer companies are lying if they claim such a highly accurate test, period. They need to EXPLAIN why their test is more accurate. I spent my life ignoring my family trying to help people under tremendous stress. I want my chance to live some life with them
