Preventive treatment of people after contact with infected or showing signs of infection - oseltamivir (Tamiflu; Tamivil, Ebilfumin) 0.075 1x1 + doxycyclinum (Unidox solutab, Doxycyclinum) 0.1 1x1; treatment of symptomatic patients both drugs 2x1. After the symptoms disappear, 1x1 again for up to 2 weeks. Oseltamivir, a neuraminidase inhibitor, inhibits the virus from entering and leaving the cell, thereby inhibiting the spread of the virus in the body; Doxycycline, a modified tetracycline, has an adjunctive effect on inhibiting protein biosynthesis by binding to the 30S ribosome subunit and phosphorylation processes in infected cells (inhibition of capsid formation around the viral nucleic acid, i.e. viral envelope).
