gfp: It would not surprise me. The stream press is already fawning over him, which is a clear cut indication that they are worried about the Biden candidacy. Also I have noted this past week that I've seen TWO old stories resurface about Biden sexually assaulting women, including a Senate staffer. The Press would be burying those stories if they were behind the Biden candidacy. But he served his purpose. He was "not Bernie". His presence helped to derail the Bernie bandwagon. Cuomo could win if drafted. He's no buffoon like Biden. It is so clear that Biden is "off" due to physical and mental infirmity that it's almost sad to watch him. He can't get out a 4 sentence statement without tripping over his own words. He strings along thoughts that make no apparent sense. He's clearly not up to the job. And he's crooked. Who knows how much money his extended family would make off the skim if he were a figurehead President. I know the Democrats hate Trump, but there have to be enough of them with some small vestige of common sense that would make them realize that Biden cannot be President. The country will have enough problems without having a President that doesn't know where he is or what day of the week it is.

And if it isn't Cuomo then Bernie isn't dead yet. This Wuhan virus crisis is going to usher in a hellish recession which will morph into the Great Depression Part II. Lots of middle class folks are going to be mad as hell when their retirement expectations are destroyed by devastating 401K losses and pension haircuts in the future. Even if Bernie type Socialism isn't going to make big inroads in this extraordinary market cycle it is sure to become even more popular by 2024. And I see it right now as a Democrat contest between Occasional Cortex and Gavin Newsom of California. If I had to wager right now I'd put my money on Newsom. He comes from a long history of connected liberal politicians from California. He's as left as they come without the clueless banter of AOC. And he's 3 times smarter as the former cocktail waitress/bartender.
