Never put anything in the market you need for groceries or rent and to keep the lights on, but if you are willing to skip an entertainment this could be very lucrative. $100 cdn will buy 5 shares of Canopy, 600ish shares of Halo, or 1000 shares of Choom I think the odds of winning at any of those is better than a lotto ticket or a casino :) be safe all!
