Only if the president says so. He didn't even fire Watt at any point, even when Watt kept making NWS payments and allowed FnF's capital buffer to reach $0.6B. There was plenty of cause in the past that the president didn't act on.
And what makes you think the president has any incentive to protect FnF common shareholders? The only big money FnF shareholder connection to the president we know of is John Paulson, and he only owns prefs.
