Trying to make lemonade...

So yesterday, after weeks of deliberating, I finally pulled the trigger and opened a ROTH IRA and converted all the RCEL shares from my IRA into it. Just RCEL, nothing else. My reasoning was that, the stock price is low right now so the tax I will incur is based on a far lower dollar amount than it would have been several months ago. In addition, the pandemic has put me out of business for now (thankful my wife still has a job) which means a whole lot less income this year. I'm betting that Avita will go to the moon (eventually) and that all of my gains in the Roth will be tax free! And, even though I can't withdraw from the new account without penalty until Jan 1, 2025, I can still trade within the account so, I'll occasionally be looking for opportunities to sell high and buy low.

I know we're all in for a rough ride. Here's hoping today's move is an indication of good things to come for all of us shareholders!
