elliot1234 have you ever heard of a bakery?? Just like in all business, you have a schedule and you know when you need to start to get the desired results. Chefs dont just show up to the kitchen and HOPE that the dough turns into bread. They know that no bread= no money. Recipes are followed for a reason...so they can predict (with great accuracy) the desired result. They KNOW when dough will turn into bread.

I hope that management knows when our "dough" will turn into "bread".
