Mammatech Launches New Breast Cancer Screening Program with OHSU Cancer Institute GAINESVILLE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 7, 2003--MammaCare and The OHSU Cancer Institute will launch a new program for breast cancer screening, the Mammatech Corporation (OTCBB:MAMH) announced today. The Oregon Health & Sciences University Cancer Institute will host a MammaCare(R) Training Center at OHSU's Cancer Institute to train and certify health professionals to conduct highly effective clinical breast examinations (CBE) and will work closely with Mammatech on advances in training technology. MammaCare, whose development was supported by the National Cancer Institute, is the skill-based program for teaching and performing CBE and for teaching women to perform proficient breast self-examination. Dr. Henry Pennypacker, President of The Mammatech Corporation, said "Partnership with the OHSU Cancer Center will measurably increase the availability and quality of breast cancer screening for many thousands of women."
