I believe our society is at a turning point and you are correct this episode has accelerated the adoption of these technologies and when this is over the ones that are helpful are here to stay. I heard a guy call oil a sunset industry. I think that puts it into perspective. Like horse and buggy did not disappear completely it passed its zenith in the 30s in favour of the motor car. Coach makers who saw the writing on the wall made chassis for autos. The same will happen here, car mfgs are configuring for electric vehicles. Etc..... so many changes :)
