Pumping
My brother has been pumping Berkshire for 40 years. Numerous friends own it on his pumping / advice. Needless to say he is doing well.

Pumping is a derogatory word for an investor that sees the big picture. A true believer. We called this ; seeing the Big Picture.

Short term traders are always pumping or the opposite depending on the trade goals.

I was once an investor / pumper of the countries first substance abuse treatment company. Founded in my part of the US. I knew all the officers and directors. Bought in the 30 cent range to 10$ over a two year period. It was considered trash by the old guys I knew at that time. I was a true believer. For roughly a 5 year span it made the Forbes top 100 small cap list. This is what is now called a pumper. Anyone in that company made a fortune.

Are you a believer or not? The not group are the traders. They make or loose pennies.
